Use Eckosil Shield® as part of a proactive crop care program to support plant strength and performance against biotic and abiotic stress, including periods of heat, drought, and intense sunlight. Its soluble orthosilicic acid formulation is designed to support stronger plant tissues, improve plant response to environmental stress, and promote efficient photosynthetic activity when used as directed.
Eckosil Shield® provides a plant-available form of silicon that can be incorporated into your standard spray program to help crops prepare for challenging environmental conditions. It can be used across a variety of crops and application systems.
Eckosil Shield® helps support crops by:
- Supporting stronger plant cell walls and overall plant structure
- Helping plants manage environmental stresses associated with heat and drought
- Supporting efficient water use and transpiration management
- Supporting photosynthetic activity and light utilization
- Supporting plant growth and crop quality during periods of environmental stress
- Offering a low-use-rate, low-pH formulation
- Providing a convenient addition to planned crop spray programs
- Leaving no visible residue on treated plant tissue
Eckosil Shield® can be particularly useful as part of a preventative crop management program before periods of intense heat or sunlight. Early-season applications can help prepare developing leaves and fruit for environmental conditions that may otherwise impact crop quality.
Additional crop benefits may include:
- Fruit: Supports fruit firmness and overall quality
- Citrus: Supports fruit size, grade, and yield potential
- Walnuts: Supports nut weight, quality, and yield potential
Eckosil Shield® is designed to complement an integrated crop management program and can be incorporated into an existing spray schedule when compatible. Always follow the product label for crop-specific application rates, timing, tank-mix compatibility, and other directions for use.
